Recently I got nominated for Bash magazine best creative wedding suppliers awards. I’m absolutely delighted to be up there with 7 other photographers whose work I really admire, but on a personal level who I also call my friends.
The wedding photography industry in Ireland is really unique in that while we face many challenges with the unpredictable weather and difficult lighting conditions the support that I feel from my fellow photographers is particularly special. We not only share business tips, borrow each other's gear, cover if someone gets sick, but also share a lot of laughs and problems with occasional karaoke and silent disco escapades. It really would be a much tougher job if not for the strength of our little photographic community.
So while I would really love if you voted for ME, I can honestly say that anyone on that list deserves to win and I would be happy for them if they do. And hey, we will probably even get to celebrate together.
